The MRT Pink Line
On 16 June 2017, Northern Bangkok Monorail Co., Ltd., our subsidiaries, signed contracts with Mass Rapid
Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) for the The MRT Pink Line (Kae Rai to Min Buri; 34.5 km 30 stations. The
subsidiaries are established under the BSR JV consortium (the Company holds 75%, STEC 15% ,and RATCH 10%).
The contract grants the subsidiaries a 30-year PPP net cost concession with a government subsidy on construction. A notice-to-proceed for the The MRT Pink Line was issued on 29 June 2018 which began the first day-count for Construction and consider hiring Bangkok Mass Transit System Public Company Limited to provide train operation and maintenance services. MRT The MRT Pink Line officially opened its service in November 2023 and fully operated in December 2023.
